The making of wtfJeans prototype
Today we went to our tailor’s shop for the first fitting. We were so excited although our jeans looked more like a few pieces of material stitched together on sides, than as a normal pair of jeans. This fitting was important so that our two tailors could do the final adjustment before final sewing.
They’ve once more measured thighline (or crotchline – fullest part of the upper leg) and hemline (the line used for the finished hem), which will determine the wideness of jeans legs. They’ve also measured seat depth (depth of the figure, while sitting on a flat surface) and center seams, to determine where the waist of the jeans is going to be: not too high or too low – we want it just perfect! :)
Our Twitter follower asked us today (after we’ve twitpicked some photos) “Where are the iPhone pockets?! :(” :) So, let me explain: today there were no pockets on wtfJeans. Not even one. It’s because this first fitting is done on the “skeleton”. It is basically just two legs stitched in the middle. During this fitting was decided where all the extra parts (including iPhone pockets) are going to be sewed… Long story short: iPhone pockets will be visible tomorrow after second, and hopefully last fitting. ;)

pozdrav sanja, evo samo jedan dobronamjeran ispravak kojeg sam letimično uočio. Vidim da koristiš na više mjesta u pismu i govoru istu grešku: “we were so exciting” umjesto “we were so excited”. Prvo bi značilo bili smo uzbudljivi, a drugo – bili smo uzbuđeni (ispravno). eto samo za ubuduće.
moze moze i odmah narucujem na sljepo…gdje da se javim ,uplatim ostavim podatke….zeljezo se kuje dok je vruce…da nebi bilo kasnije rasprodano….

Posle prvog marta ce pravi sajt biti “na nogama” (ovo je samo privremeni) i tada ces moci naruciti. Bez brige, ako narucis tada, sigurno ce biti i jedan par za tebe. ;)
